I’m Leonardo, an Italian AI Engineer who likes turning technically interesting ideas into things people can actually use.
My path started with software engineering and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Bologna. A Master’s in Artificial Intelligence at Utrecht University took me deeper into machine learning, language models, and efficient inference.
During my Master’s, I researched how smaller and quantized language models compare with larger models on code generation tasks. That work shaped how I think about the trade-offs between capability, efficiency, and practical use.
Today, I build AI-powered products and infrastructure: agents that interact with real tools, voice systems that talk to real users, and workflows that connect to existing business processes.
I enjoy moving across the entire stack, from an agent’s reasoning and execution architecture to backend services, cloud infrastructure, and the interface someone actually uses. My focus is making advanced AI practical, reliable, and accessible.
